Motorists Warned About States’ Ticketing Habits

Auto insurance customers have long known that they may end up paying higher premiums if they are ticketed for speeding or other such infractions. However, some motorists also suspect that states vary in the traffic enforcement levels they undertake.

With that in mind, the National Motorists Association recently ranked the states on how likely law enforcement personnel are to issue tickets to motorists for traffic infractions. The organization says it has assisted motorists fighting against unfair tickets for more than two decades.

At the top of this year’s list was Florida, followed by Georgia and Nevada in a tie for second place.
