Common medication could lead to osteoporosis

The International Osteoporosis Foundation and the European Calcified Tissue Society have released a new guidance paper for healthcare professionals in which they warn of the dangers of long-term glucocorticoid use. The common medication can cause rapid bone loss during the first three to six months of use, and doctors should take adequate steps to counter these effects when treating with glucocorticoids.

Texting and Driving Rampant Among Young Female Drivers
